• Avoid phone use in busy, public spaces
• Step into a store, bank, or another protected area while texting
• Carry your phone out of sight, ideally in a zipped or recessed pocket or purse
• In vehicles, keep windows up and doors locked
• Enable the phone’s password protection
• Check to ensure remote tracking and data wiping capability is enabled
