Traveling can be stress-inducing and disorienting, making us more vulnerable to certain risks.
Consider the following when traveling to bolster your digital security:
- Avoid the use of public wi-fi hotspots and public charging stations.
- If using public wi-fi, consider using a VPN.
- Password protect all devices.
- Use different passwords for your devices. Leave unnecessary devices at home.
- Be aware of the visibility of the contents on your screen, including passwords or proprietary information.
