Algeria: Parliamentary Election Voter Turnout Near 20%, Down from 23% in 2021

On 2 July 2026, Algeria held parliamentary elections as more than 24 million registered voters were called to elect 407 members of the National People’s Assembly for a five-year term, according to official figures from the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE).
