While promises for future collaboration between Tunisia and Egypt are not new, President Sisi’s clear affirmation of support for President Saied was notable. Particularly as the Tunisian administration works to find partners amenable to the President’s approach and methods, a supportive, or even impartial comrade in North Africa is helpful to his cause.
